Welcome
Welcome to Yosemite’s Rest, located in Midpines, just off the road to Yosemite in a beautiful setting among pine, oak and manzanita trees. We love the mountains and Yosemite and we know you will too.
Our desire is to provide you with a place of rest with many wonderful places nearby that you can explore or you can simply spend time relaxing on our property. There are some beautiful walks to a nearby pond or vista.
We are both avid hikers and know Yosemite and the surrounding area well and are happy to help you plan a day trip. You will love our quaint down town Mariposa with little shops and wonderful places to eat, which makes our location desirable being less than 7 miles from town, yet close to the road to Yosemite and the Merced River. There are maps, books, restaurants and information available for you and other amenities you can find
on the cottage page.
"Everybody needs beauty as well as bread, places to play in and pray in, where nature may heal
and give strength to body and soul."
